Art Dolls

Dolls have been found in every corner of the world since time began,
Whether they are used for healing, play things, transformation, as tools of intention and self-expression, or as objects to guide us through challenging times, loss, change or as beacons of peace, harmony and hope, like a gateway to consciousness, there is something about them that is compelling and resonates deep within us.

Scientific studies show that art and music have a physiological effect on our bodies at a cellular level that can transform stress, blood flow and even our immune system. This, in turn, can have a remarkable impact on our emotional make-up and perception of the world.

I make my spirit dolls in a variety of materials: Paper, ceramic, porcelain, polymer clay, soft sculpture, fabric, needle-felting a well as from items found in nature. I never know how they will turn out…only that each Doll is unique and tells a story…
